Diabetes – Treating a Worldwide Pandemic with Hypnosis Therapy

Once a rare and unknown disease, the incidence of diabetes has risen dramatically over the past 20 years and now afflicts tens of millions of Americans. While experts once attributed the increase to an aging U.S. population, doctors are finding that the disease is afflicting growing numbers of children and young adults. As it continues to emulate the American way of life, it has grown exponentially in other parts of the world. Diabetes diagnoses are increasing globally at an astonishing rate of 50% per decade. Ironically, most physicians today already know very well those factors in the American way of life that have contributed to this epidemic. In short: Refined sugar and carbohydrates, as well as a sedentary lifestyle, have been scientifically linked to this disease for years. In this article, I will point out how these two factors contribute to this disorder. In part two, I describe some of the radical new ways hypnotherapy can offer to help find solutions, as an adjunct to medication.

The facts of this disease are well known. In type 1 diabetes, usually starting in youth, the body’s immune system, for unknown reasons, simply destroys the islets in the pancreas that produce insulin, a staple food that helps all body cells absorb cellular energy Hormones of sugar. In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas may produce less insulin, but the situation is compounded by the body’s cells becoming resistant to this insulin and unable to accept the sugar that each insulin molecule is trying to deliver. In both cases, the cells of the body are starved of energy. But a buildup of sugar in the blood is often the most dangerous effect of diabetes and the ultimate diagnostic indicator of the disease. This excess sugar thickens the blood, which slowly destroys the entire circulatory system. This breakdown of the circulatory system appears to be an inevitable consequence of the disease process, even with insulin for blood sugar control. The many outcomes of this breakdown include erectile dysfunction, heart attack and stroke, amputation of limbs, kidney failure and blindness.

In my previous analysis of various endemic diseases, I explored how the function of a particular organ in a healthy body could provide clues to the cause of disease in that body part. For example, we found that the prevalence of breast cancer was linked to modern society’s failure to support the role of nursing in women’s lives. The role of the pancreas is apparently to bring sweetness into our bodies, helping us enjoy sugar for energy. So we might surmise that diabetes is the result of not being sweet enough in our lives. On the surface, this analysis may seem counterintuitive, even wrong. After all, most people with diabetes do not lack sugar in their lives, or even completely love sugary foods. To understand the true purpose of the insulin-producing islets within the pancreas, we must examine the role of this key organ in early human evolution:

Humans evolved as upright walking apes at least 3 million years ago. As the world’s first upright primate, we are designed to walk and run many hours a day on long foraging journeys that include digging roots, climbing fruit trees, fighting off saber-toothed tigers, and carrying babies. Humans once lived in the vast African savannahs, dense northern forests, and even the frozen tundra of the European Ice Age. But as a species, we rarely enjoy the sedentary lifestyle of lions or the comfortable grazing life of cattle. The islets of our pancreas are designed to provide us with long-lasting and sustainable energy, giving us the unique vitality of erect apes. Through the power of insulin-based glucose metabolism, a small amount of sweet food can prolong the time chasing prey in ancient savannahs, or keep warm during arctic storms. With the help of insulin, some of the sugar can enter the cell walls, while the rest is stored in the liver for later use. This is a great system for hominids!

But the American way of life now is different from the way we are exporting to a world of aspirations. We’re eating tons of food, including lots of refined sugar and carbohydrates like white flour that our ancestors were completely unaware of. Even as our minds can travel to the infinitely glamorous world of TV and the Internet, our bodies are stuck in a sedentary state that is a veritable symbol of modern domestic bliss: the couch potato. So while our blood is full of fuel for activity, our muscles are so lazy they can no longer eat! This sedentary life eventually causes our pancreas to give up. Perhaps we can imagine the energy plant operators in our pancreas throwing up their hands in despair, yelling “I can’t take this anymore, I quit!” We can also imagine the boring cells of our body’s organs and muscles watching the thick, sugary broth they float in, and say, “I don’t care about anything. I’m bored.”

An interesting finding confirmed my theory. Doctors discovered that the children of primitive hunters and farmers from the third world, whose pancreases were especially adapted to survive the hard-working, hard-working lifestyles of that world, were more prone to diabetes than the rest of us when they adopted a Western lifestyle. Their pancreases seem to need more time to adjust than other modern Americans whose ancestors have had more than a century to adjust to these new conditions. But remember, even in white society, diabetes is a growing disease as we move deeper into a culture of conspicuous consumption and sedentary entertainment every year.

So, how can hypnotherapy help us address this increasingly dangerous epidemic? First let me be clear, hypnotism cannot wave a magic wand and cure diabetes with some simple script or cute trick. Patients should continue to monitor blood sugar and take insulin according to the doctor’s advice until the blood sugar is normal for several consecutive days without insulin injection. This is how some of my clients beat diabetes. Medical advice should continue to be sought during recovery. In my opinion, avoiding most processed sugars should be a lifelong goal for all diabetics, even after symptoms have resolved. But with these conditions in mind, hypnotherapy can do a lot to help with these conditions.

Part 2: Treatment

In the first article in this series, I explored the growing prevalence of diabetes in our society, the dire toll it takes on our health, and some of its possible causes. In this article, I will explore some of the ways in which hypnotherapy can be used, combined with appropriate medication, to help heal this disease.

First, we can go into the pancreatic compartment and see what’s in there. What emotions are stored there? What core beliefs in our childhood tell us to give up this function? What traumatic memories are stored in this organ? Neither I nor my client can answer these questions. But with the help of a skilled hypnotherapist, the subconscious mind can give us these answers. I saw a young woman with type 1 diabetes whose body had destroyed her pancreas. After accessing the pancreas under hypnosis, she uncovered memories of her father’s brutal abuse of her mother. She begged him to stop abusing her mother, screaming at one point: “I’ll give up all the sweetness in my life as long as you stop hurting her.” Then she burst into tears. A few minutes later, I pointed out to her the enormous significance of this statement for the course of her disease.

Shocked at first, she was soon ready to change this core belief. To that end, I directed her to confront her father, save her mother, and drive this monster out of her life in a rage. She then welcomed a new inner father into her child’s life (actually, he was the new man her father had become after entering AA and rehab!). His promise to her was: “My dearest daughter, I will return you all the sweetness you deserve from your father.” The results of this session were immediate. Over the next week, despite some difficult challenges in her work life, she reported more balanced blood sugar and a reduced need for insulin.

Many other techniques can be used to explore the implications of disease. These are covered in detail in my article The Alchemy of Healing.

Somatic healing techniques are also useful after we have addressed some of these core beliefs and feelings. These are outlined in my article Somatic Healing. As an example, a patient with diabetes experienced her inner healer Jesus operating on her islets, transforming each islet from a bare rocky island into a beautiful tropical paradise complete with palm trees, Flowers, colorful birds and green grass. Rich. A week later, she tested her blood sugar levels without needing insulin injections. Then, with the doctor’s bewildered blessing, she put away the needle and was symptom-free for five years. Yes, it’s exciting. But she did a lot of other treatments in my training to prepare her body for this miracle.

Hypnotherapy is also valuable in helping to change our sedentary lifestyles and lazy eating habits. Many hypnotic suggestion scripts can be used effectively to change our attitudes towards exercise and diet, as well as our new behavioral practices in these key areas of lifestyle. I often recommend also working with fitness trainers, trainers, and nutritionists, augmenting their advice with hypnotic advice to help my clients make these critical and often difficult changes.

Additionally, I help my clients discover their inner body wisdom guide. This guide is like a personal trainer we find in our inner world, helping us focus on fitness. This Body Wisdom Guide knows better than any outside expert how to take care of the body. With the help of the Body Wisdom Guide, we learn to enjoy the taste of fresh vegetables, fruits, grains and nuts to help our bodies grow healthy and strong. This guide can teach us about the sheer joy of physical activity, the joy of running, jumping, panting, stretching, sweating, and in short, playing with our bodies for the sheer joy of it. This guide provides us with practical exercises to help us achieve our health goals. result? If we heed this instruction and follow it, our bodies will become leaner, shapelier, and stronger. Our cells start screaming for sugar! Our pancreas is happily working again. Suddenly, we have all the energy we need. Did I mention…no more diabetes.

If you or someone you know is ready to stop just having diabetes and accept the terrible toll it can take on your health, if you are ready to beat diabetes, tell your doctor that you want hypnotherapy as an adjunct to medication means. And start your healing journey by calling our Institute on 800 950 4984. But remember, this disease won’t be conquered by some simple new technology or some new super pill. It will give up its grip on our lives and civilization only if we are willing to fight for our health and liberty at all costs.

good luck!
