It is thought that many workers find their first day at work stressful as they cannot take their work off on their days off and become anxious and exhausted. Unfortunately, some people are constantly thinking about their jobs when they should be recharging their physical and mental energy for returning to work on the weekends.
Managing the “Monday Blues”
It’s one thing to know some of the common causes of the “Monday blues.” Figuring out what to do is another. Most of us just accept “Blue Mondays” as a fact of life. Try to spend time with people who have mastered the “Monday blues” and come into work energized and ready to go. Their energy may affect you!

Always set achievable goals and check off the list when you reach them. Most people are encouraged when they tick the last item and acknowledge that your day’s work or special project is done and that you are in charge of your work.
If your work routine fails to set goals, you have to fuel your mind when you leave the workplace.
Resolve workplace incidents in a timely manner so they leave and move on.
Take a break throughout the workday, take a lunch break or take a few steps outside.
Chances are you really don’t like your job, which is why you experience a lot of “blue days”. For example, the job isn’t for you and you’re stuck in an office when you’re better suited to working outdoors or interacting with people.
