Weight Loss Is a Pain In The Ass!

From what I understand, “weight loss” has many meanings. The first is 80% diet and 20% exercise, which I think is full of crap from the start because I think if you keep your body moving you don’t need to worry about what food you’re eating. wrong! I’m a foodie so I figured with my exercise program I could get away with it. no!

Nutrition consists of three main parts – protein, carbohydrates and fats, which help build muscle, lose weight and provide energy. If you are eating fried and sugary food (mainly fat, who cares what kind of fat). For your diet, or your “lifestyle changes”, you need about 60% carbs, 20% protein, and 20% – this may or may not be accurate, but it’s close. So eating junk and exercising won’t help you lose weight. Oh, it gets better kids! I think by now I should lose a few pounds, but not quite.. see I changed my diet, quit soda and still working out.. now before I quit soda and change my diet I still didn’t lose anything, but when I did, I lost weight because I quit soda. But not because of exercise.

Here’s the deal! Pushing hard is a must when exercising! My problem is that I rest as soon as I get tired. Oh no, no. In addition to all the other things mentioned above, you need to make sure your heart rate is in a certain range and only need to rest for 30 seconds to maybe a minute so your heart rate stays the same and you burn off the pounds . So if you really want to lose weight, I recommend getting a heart rate monitor. You can also figure out what your heart rate should be while exercising. Just google “target heart rate for exercise”.

I’ve lost about 5 pounds, but I still have some to lose. Have I considered popular weight loss products on the market? Heck, yeah, especially since I’ve had no luck doing what I thought I was doing right. But I decided against it because I wanted to do it the right way.

Changing my diet and exercising, I’ve learned to like a lot of new things like clean eating, running (I’m not a runner, but now I love it) and drinking a variety of healthy drinks. I try to stay away from sugary drinks as much as possible, but I do like Propel and some fruit juice, and I’m always looking for a new healthy drink to try. I also love gym equipment and different workouts. Right now I’m doing turbo fire, pilates, have a yoga mat (also doing yoga). I also have bodybuilding shoes and running shoes so I can keep losing weight and building muscle.
