As a teenager, that fast food pay check can seem like a lot of money, especially if you don’t have to pay for room and board, a car, insurance, or any other necessities. But now that you’re alone, that check is suddenly so small. Your hopes of becoming a “big singer,” sports star, or reality TV star have hit rock bottom. So how do you legally make the money you need to live the American Dream you see on TV. You suddenly realize that you actually do need an education. So, maybe you want to go to college or get a professional certificate. The only thing holding you back is your high school diploma. You need to get your GED!

So what exactly is GED??

The General Education Diploma, or GED, is awarded to individuals who have dropped out of traditional high school and are looking for an alternative to their high school diploma. The GED is a state issued diploma, in my case it would be the “Florida General Education High School Diploma”.
