Influence Of Television On Today’s Youth
As a young man, I experienced many of the results of today’s media. In the past, the media was supposed to be the ultimate source of information and entertainment, but my question is to what extent is this source exploited? I do agree with the fact that people are looking for good entertainment and something that the BBC and CNN or any other documentary channel can’t provide. The reason I have to bring this topic up is that the media is not only the main server of control for young people, but for all stages of life from just 2 years old to well-spoken. .until the last breath of man. Media is so important in our lives today that it is so real, in fact, media is one of the many things that keeps us going.
The power of the media is beyond anyone’s definition because it’s what we all look forward to the moment we open our eyes early in the morning and close them that night. In fact, media is so much a part of our lives today that we may not even realize how much it affects our personal lives. We are so dependent on the media, especially TV, that we are even prepared to skip breakfast but dare not miss a show on TV. Television is one of the best ways to bring information into our system, for better or for worse. We may not learn as much by reading, but by saying watching TV is one of the best ways for us to catch on to something that catches our eye so much. But are we learning the right things? Are we using this information in the right way?
Television affects us in many ways, and most of our actions are influenced by today’s film and music industries. Some of us even tend to live like celebrities and TV stars, not knowing that in real life it would be a completely different scenario. Television can subtly affect a person’s character as well as their surroundings. These days, most of us tend to live like celebrities. In fact, not only do we talk like them, dress like them, walk like them, and even eat like them, we’re also starting to act like them, the only difference being that they’re living a celebrity life a little bit differently than normal people lead. But it’s too late, we’ve already started to react irresponsibly to things, like in the movies, everything will pass. We live in a vastly different world now, a fantasy where everything comes from our feet and all we need to do is ask or just hope. Now we tend to adore big stars and people, we cry when they cry, we laugh with them when they laugh. We don’t discover who we are or who we really are, instead we prefer to hide behind a disguise and become what we don’t want it to bring us more success if we are who we are, including changing our name Think if we Tweak an average Sam Cristus into the ever-popular Tom Cruise, or a simple Bob Bitt into Brad Pitt, and we’ve got a better chance of bringing it to important offices where things are more intense than names many. We forget our responsibilities as individuals and the real reason we are in this world. I’ve experienced a simple example myself of how I failed to discover myself and instead always preferred to be someone who I was a huge “Avril Lavigne” fan. I used to dress up like her, try to look cool, and develop a “don’t care what other people think” attitude. But I guess I had to learn it the hard way, and in the end, I realized, well, it’s pretty impractical for the way I live and where I was raised. But fortunately, I was able to realize this unrealistic behavior earlier, before it seriously affected me. So I’m lucky, but maybe not many others are still caught in the vortex of fantasy where they get lost trying to imitate their beloved artist or star, expecting their surroundings to react the same way they do in the movie, and when things don’t happen When we go the way it’s supposed to go, we needlessly get frustrated and angry with ourselves and even those around us. It is us who are affected, not any of them. We can’t blame anyone for this because it’s just a matter of self-actualization and it’s just about you and me. Why I prefer to address young people on this issue because we are the majority of the world’s population and only we can do something about it to prevent those below us from falling into this ideal world where we forget the true meaning of hard work and real success.
Recently, I read something that really moved me, and I’m sure most of you must have read/heard the news that three schoolchildren murdered two other children at the same school, and they thought it was because of their Dead, their school will declare a holiday. What were these once innocent children thinking? Do they really know what they are doing? Who do we blame? I do hope that watching too much TV isn’t one of the reasons for their behavior, or where they learn all these techniques or even where their ideas come from. Where were their parents during all this?
Most music videos are about love and sex, maybe even something in between. What happens to us is that these thoughts stay in our head and we consciously or unconsciously believe that things should be the way they are and forget what we once knew and were taught really meant. Well, life isn’t just about love, sex, or fake personalities. It’s about how we live our lives, what we do and how we accomplish it matters because who knows how long we will be blessed with the luxuries that are offered to us each year. I wish there were more meaningful words and scenes in the songs and videos instead of “I love you, you love me, I touch you, you touch me, I kiss you, you kiss me… well, these are We already know that, I just wish they sang something more dramatic or meaningful instead of showing young girls walking around with barely anything on. Because believe me, it’s hard for me to be quiet and make sure my niece And nephew won’t end up watching that stuff at such a young age but how can I watch this every time I turn on the tv. I hope the younger generations much lower than us don’t really do that in real life Do…or do they? I do hope the music producers and whoever controls this will do something about it instead of just focusing on the guaranteed profits when the youngsters or whoever is happy with what is shown. I’d really like to know if this would work, because money is something that can blind people, as the saying goes “money is something that people are even willing to die for”… well, maybe the only answer lies within us So when do we start looking for it…maybe the day we start experiencing it ourselves, but do we have to wait that long…what if that day never comes?
What about the times when our role models were Princess Diana, Gandhi, Mother Teresa… oh yes, times have changed… I remember as a child when I was often asked who my role model was, I used to think Know who has done the most for the people, and their good deeds? ..but if you ask me now I don’t know who to say…because right now I can’t think of anyone who could earn that auspicious title these days especially learning about our culture and traditions and life in the past without TV and How people used to work hard and truly believe in the young people who found happiness in their families has come a long way from the one who brought us into this world. We young people still have a lot to learn about life and all that it has to offer.
Let us stop being ignorant. It’s time for us to know what’s right and what’s really wrong. Let’s contribute to each other, correct each other, teach ourselves how to be our own real celebrities, how to be a good example of ourselves, and even one day become another version of our great leaders who once gave up their lives, so that we can live and enjoy life The luxury now available to us. How can we waste our efforts in vain? Let us thank our ancestors for their hard work for our future and thank them with our simple acts of kindness. Let’s be a human being, like a younger version of Gandhi.
