Starting Back at School With Bach Flower Remedies
Do you remember the mix of excitement and nervousness when you were getting ready to start school after a long summer break? Someone takes you shopping for new shoes and school uniform, maybe gives you a haircut so you’re smart and ready. You get new stationery and a new bag, and a sense of anticipation builds. Everyone asks you about school, what class you’ll be in, who your teacher is, and you start to feel the weight of what’s to come.
Coming back on the first day, the breakfast was a bit nasty because of the butterflies in your stomach. You arrive at the school and the first thing you smell is the smell – newly polished floors, freshly mixed powder coating and sanitizer! You line up and walk into your new classroom. Your teacher tells you where to sit, you weigh up the teacher versus the person sitting next to you – like it or not – and your new school year begins!
You either love it, or your stomach sinks into the boot when you remember what it looks like.
This is exactly the same for your child. In the rush to get everything ready for school, it’s easy to ignore their feelings. Making sure your child is mentally ready for school is just as important as making sure their shoes fit.
Talking obviously helps, but if your child is really scared or lacks confidence, what can you do? You feel helpless and frustrated because they are going through a tough time and there is nothing you can do about it. That’s where Bach Flower Remedies come in.
Bach Flower Remedies help your child cope with emotional ups and downs in amazing ways. They are safe, free from side effects and chemicals, and best of all, they work really fast! larch – for lack of confidence. If your child has low self-esteem or lacks confidence in their abilities; if they give up quickly; if they say “I can’t… math, spelling, Spanish, etc.” if they always need you around; if they want you to do things for them instead of doing things themselves, such as calling a friend; if they don’t want to try because they think they will fail; if they always associate themselves with friends for comparison; if they are a second child and feel inferior to the older child; if they struggle in social situations or new experiences.
