Healing of Cancer: Voodoo Death in Cancer Patients

Witch doctors exist in uncivilized parts of the world, do you think civilized countries do not have this kind of voodoo culture? Let’s analyze two cases of liver cancer.

Story 1: Gan is a 62-year-old man. He had a fever with vomiting and diarrhea for about two weeks. He was admitted to a private hospital. A CT scan showed a 9 x 10.5 x 9 cm mass in the 4th and 8th segments of the liver. The mass can be seen extending towards the hepatic hilum. The intrahepatic ducts were not dilated.

The doctor said Gan had liver cancer. He was then referred to University Hospital for further treatment, but he did not follow up. He came to see us on 6th August 2000 and chose herbs. He was in pretty good form at the time. Except for a slight fever in the middle of the night, he has no discomfort. Gan starts with our liver herbs.

Gan responds well to herbs. A week later, his appetite had grown. He sleeps well throughout the night, whereas previously his sleep was disturbed and he woke up every night. He felt more alert. Judging by his facial expressions, he looks much better than before. The fever in the middle of the night also disappeared.

On September 10, 2000, Mr. Gan told us that he was much more energetic and could jog. On September 21, 2001, after taking the medicine for one year and two months, I saw Gan again. He told me that he would not be doing any more blood tests because the AFP level had increased from 179 in August 2000 (before taking the herbal medicine) to 88,917 in June 2001 (after taking the herbal medicine). He thought it was pointless to know any more about it. However, he is doing well and has gone back to work as a mechanic. He has no symptoms or discomfort.

After taking the medicine for about a week, all of Gan’s symptoms were amazingly relieved. He was able to sleep, eat and work. After taking the herbal medicine for three months, his liver function returned to normal. However, rising AFP levels indicated that something was wrong with him. We don’t know what else to do to help him. Perhaps, this is a kind of “symbiotic coexistence”, hoping for the best. Of course, Gan could have opted for surgery or other medical interventions that he rejected from the start. On the plus side, Gan isn’t that bad compared to those who opt for medical treatment. Many of those who underwent surgery died quickly, while others developed more tumors in their livers. There are no certainties in cancer. What is certain about the outcome of such cases is its uncertainty.

Story 2: Danny is a 55 year old man. In September 2001, I had sudden abdominal pain. Tests performed at the hospital showed multiple liver masses with ascites. He was then referred to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. Abdominal CT scan showed “multiple enhancing nodules throughout the liver. The largest of these was 12 cm in diameter and located in segment 5. This particular nodule showed mixed density with an area of reduced density in its center. It drooped down to the inferior “The lower edge of the liver appears to be surrounded by a fairly dense fluid. Dense fluid may also be seen around the liver. Appearance may be due to multicentric hepatoma with maximal tumor hemorrhage. Multiple secondary is another consideration. “

An open biopsy confirmed a well-differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma. A chest X-ray shows that the heart appears to be enlarged. The right hemidiaphragm was elevated, and the left was mild pleural effusion.

Surgery is not indicated in this case. Denny then underwent transarterial chemoembolization. After this treatment, blood test results were not encouraging. Doctors told the family that Danny had only three to 12 months to live.

Danny and his family visited us on September 30, 2001. He felt no pain, but couldn’t sleep. He had been sedated for the previous three or four nights. He can’t sleep. He coughed dryly and was a little out of breath. Every day from 4 or 5 in the afternoon, he would have a fever. We prescribed our liver herbs.

After taking the herbal medicine for a week, Danny reported that he had mild pain. He was able to fall asleep without further sedatives. He lost his appetite. But his breathing is much better. The fever has subsided during the night. The night before taking the medicine, the fever usually lasts for three or four hours, and the body temperature is about 39 degrees. After taking the medicine, the fever only lasts for one or two hours, and the body temperature is about 37.5 degrees.

After two weeks of taking the herbal remedies, Danny reported further improvement. He has no more pain. His breathing improved and he slept well. He felt more alert. Some nights, he either didn’t have a fever, or when he did, his body temperature was only around 37 degrees Celsius.

After taking the herbal medicine for about a month, Danny told us that he refused further chemoembolization because his condition had improved so much. He is no longer in pain, can sleep, is more awake, and is breathing normally. His appetite improved. He only had a fever for two nights, with a body temperature of around 37.5 degrees Celsius. He told us his blood pressure was a little low, at — 100/70.

In November 2001, Danny came to tell us that he had no fever at night. That was about six weeks after he took the herbal medicine. In late November 2001, Danny reported that his blood pressure had returned to normal at 110/80. He looks radiant and healthy!

It was truly the most amazing thing to see Danny do so well. We have a VCD of all of Danny’s visits. The first time he came, he was wearing a jacket. He looks sick. His movements were stiff, slow, and lifeless. He was out of breath as he spoke. A week later, Danny was different. He has more energy. He walks with energy.

Again, we want to ask some questions: This is a man bleeding from a ruptured liver tumor. After just one treatment, he stopped chemoembolization and switched to herbal medicine. Why is he getting better? Why is there no more fever? Why did his blood pressure return to normal? In this case, no drugs or medical procedures are involved. In fact, he suffered severe side effects while undergoing treatment! It is truly a miraculous cure.

On January 20, 2002, Danny and his family came to visit us. He is very healthy. Then, just a month later, Danny came again, frustrated. He spent time online and learned that his cancer was a deadly disease. He was devastated, and this new information made him feel depressed all week.

To understand why this happened, let’s go back in time before Danny came to see us. “The prognosis is cautious and the family has been informed,” Danny’s doctor wrote on September 17, 2001. According to the family, Danny has only three to twelve months to live!

We can foresee different outcomes for Danny and Gan, despite both suffering from similar incurable liver cancer. As William Oslo said, survival depends largely on what goes on in the head. I suspect Danny is under a voodoo spell. He knew his cancer was serious and he only had three to twelve months to live. Although he has benefited from taking the medicinal materials, he still feels hopeless and doesn’t know what the outcome will be. He once told me, “I’m fine, I feel fine on the outside, but I don’t know what’s going on inside me.” His family also told me that Danny was too worried. Although his condition improved with the herbal remedies, his daughter told me Danny just hoped he would live another two months by which time his son would be able to finish college. He was looking forward to graduating smoothly, and then he was ready to die. No matter how much I assured him he would be fine, he remained skeptical.

Gan, on the other hand, was not under the voodoo curse. His doctors didn’t get a chance to tell him how much longer he had to live. He opted for herbal remedies and declined further medical attention. He knew his cancer was serious, but he just walked away! When blood tests showed elevated AFP, he stopped testing altogether. When I spoke to Gan, he didn’t make any skeptical remarks like Danny did. For me, the prognosis for both conditions is very poor. Gan lived two years, but Danny died earlier – not only because of his cancer, but also because of his state of mind.
