WOULD I KEEP ANY IDENTITY WITHIN MYSELF IF I LEAVE MY EVER GLORIOUS DECENT JOB? Yes… You are the same. Your identity is the same. Your qualifications and assignments are the same. Only the roles are changed. Instead of the office job, you will now have some life to nurture.
IS THERE ANY USE OF MY EDUCATION IF I SIT AT HOME DOING NOTHING? Yes… The education gave you the required stability and confidence to make critical decisions in life. Education does not teach how to earn money, it rather makes you worth earning and being self-reliant. Education encourages you to decide on the priority at various stages. And your highest priority now is to responsibly own the “parenthood”. And believe me, if even though the idea might drive you crazy, there won’t be a second of ‘NOTHING’. The moment the baby is born, the mother is born. You will have to double the energy to finish the routine tasks and take care of the baby at the same time. Check the diaper and change, keep the room tidy, adjust the room temperature, wake and sleep to accommodate the occasional feedings, along with the daily cooking, cleaning, washing. Routine medical checks are also added to the list. If a toddler, you’ll find yourself running around. Planning for next season, new styles, new toys, next stage baby food, so many things to think about!! Where is the TIME?
WILL I BE ABLE TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY ON ONE SALARY AND STILL PROVIDE A DECENT LIFE FOR MY CHILD? Yes… This is the only discriminatory margin between ‘Job’ and ‘No Job’ we are talking about. Analyze your financial situation thoroughly. Might limit your restaurant trips!! Or maybe your investments make you pretty safe if there is an emergency at all!! Think it over and over and over until you are clear and satisfied with your own financial background. Financial constraint is the only real reason when you will not want to think twice, but continue the work as always. JUST THINK ABOUT IT- Not many extra expenses when the baby is small. Expenses will be more when his education begins and along with that many demands accumulate, the new shoes, the elegant dresses, the mobile toys and many more. You will need money now, but from now on you will be free to put your good old job back together.
Remember, at the end of the day, you live and win for your child. Do NOT ignore him at any cost, not a bit.
