Several Important Points You Should Know About Potty Training
You may be wondering when your children are ready to be potty trained. There is no exact time when the training should start as it depends on the mental and physical aspects of your children. Usually, they are ready for potty training at around 18-30 months of age or older. They are considered ready for potty training when they show you these behaviors: the less frequent urination and defecation, the better your children respond to doing some simple tasks, and their reluctance to be messed with.
Do not force them to potty train if your children do not show the expected response or if they are clearly not interested in potty training. Just cancel your plans for a while until they are ready, usually about 2 weeks later. When the time has come, here are some points you should know:

6. Make a progress board. Mark the days they don’t poop their pants and put the board on the toilet door or other places like their own bedroom door.
For those who show good results in potty training, a small reward could motivate them to make more progress. Also, a certificate of completion is another motivational tool for them. You could make such a certificate yourself on a computer, print it on special paper and give it to them. Tell them they passed the training. Potty training is just part of child rearing, so if they have completed this step, you should consider toilet training for them.
