Carrot Soup – Diarrhea Recipe
There are many causes of diarrhea: virus, bacteria, germs, bad food, antibiotics, excessive consumption of laxatives, etc. There are many remedies for diarrhea, and some are better than others. But one that is 100% natural, easy to make, cheap and effective is: carrot soup.
It provides water to fight dehydration while filling your body with sodium, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sulfur and magnesium. It also provides pectin and coats the gut to reduce inflammation. In addition, it will prevent vomiting and any growth of harmful germs inside the intestine.
This carrot soup recipe is not the traditional soup recipe your grandmother used to. In fact, you’ll only need the juice from the carrots, because you don’t want to give something solid to someone who has diarrhea.
What you need:
Large cooking pot
Sieve
2 pounds carrots, peeled and chopped
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon of salt
First, peel the carrots and cut them. Then heat the carrot in 1 cup of water in the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes, until the carrot is tender. Mash the carrot thoroughly and add 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. Bring to a boil again, then simmer for another 15 minutes. Place the strainer over a large bowl to catch the carrot juice, then pour the mixture into it. Squeeze the carrot with a fork to get as much carrot juice as you can.
Give 3/4 cup of carrot soup to the patient every 20-30 minutes.
