High Blood Pressure – An Increase of the Silent Killer!

It is alarming to consider that today nearly one in four people in the UK have high blood pressure. You might think it’s only the over 50s that are affected, but children can suffer from this silent killer too! Yes, guys.

Nowadays, even children as young as 6 or 7 years old can suffer from high blood pressure! Why? Because childhood obesity is skyrocketing and causing a lot of anxiety in political and medical circles.

Despite the popular concept that we all belong in gyms, we are actually getting less exercise than ever before. We smoke and drink excessively and eat a diet high in fat and sugar. No wonder the rates of high blood pressure are on the rise!

Studies conducted at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota reveal that in addition to its well-documented links to cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure can actually reduce your thinking ability, affect your memory and learning ability as you age.

High blood pressure can produce areas of degeneration within the brain that can lead to the onset of Alzheimer’s!

Yes, another major health risk is now linked to high blood pressure. Knowing the risks involved, we can now proceed to look at ways we can help ourselves overcome them.

Get proactive and start taking care of yourself

Regular visits to the doctor for a general check-up are always recommended, especially as we get older. However, I would strongly advise you to research some drugs that a doctor prescribes for high blood pressure. There can be some worrying side effects associated with these drugs. Over the years I have seen them all: fatigue, weakness and pain in muscles, back problems, headaches, diarrhea and shortness of breath. Just two years ago, the NHS stopped prescribing beta blockers, which have been shown to increase the risk of strokes, heart attacks and diabetes!

I would suggest that you buy your own blood pressure monitors, available in most high street pharmacies, which generally seem to give accurate readings, you can then check your blood pressure daily. Let me explain how it works:

Imagine a hose pipe, when the water flows through it, it tightens due to the pressure of the water inside. When you turn off the water, the pipe becomes loose and soft. The faucet is the heart, and the pipe is the artery.

Two numbers appear on a blood pressure monitor, the higher number represents the pressure of the blood moving through the arteries and the lower number represents the pressure on the arteries even when they are relaxed.

When both numbers are consistently high (over 140/90) you suffer from high blood pressure and therefore have excess pressure on your heart and arteries!

The next thing you need to do is change any aspects of your lifestyle that are harming your blood pressure. Being overweight/obese, generally inactive, constantly stressed, smoking, drinking too much alcohol, too much salt and red meat in the diet are all factors leading to a much higher risk of suffering from hypertension/hypertension.

Try to go for a forty-five minute walk at least three times a week, or do more exercise if time and body allow.

Cut out salt, or at least use low sodium salt, which is now available in most supermarkets.

Learn to relax – stop carrying the world on your shoulders. Don’t panic about things you can’t control and try to think of the glass as half full rather than half empty’

Quit or radically reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke each day.

Reduce your alcohol consumption – a few small glasses of red wine a day can be beneficial for health.

Lose weight and cut out fatty and hydrogenated foods, e.g. fried foods and prepared meals for the microwave. Stay away from red meat and eat less sugary foods.

In addition, there is the simple, natural and effective solution

Natural Blood Pressure Control Capsules are a specially blended formula of nature’s best – proven ingredients that have been used effectively for many centuries throughout Europe, South America and the Far East.

The formula includes:

Nattokinase (fermented soybeans) – one of my favorite natural ingredients! Used by the Japanese for more than 1000 years. Remember that Japan has one of the lowest rates of heart disease in the world! Its proven to break blood clots, naturally thin blood, increase oxygen to the tissues and remove extra fibrin.

Fish Oil – The Japanese are the biggest consumers of fish in the world! They lower blood triglycerides, which prevent cardiovascular disease, reduce risk of blood clots and reduce cholesterol-related high blood pressure.

Hawthorn Flower – Proven for many centuries to improve coronary blood flow!

Stevia (Sweet Herb) – Another favorite of mine! It has been used effectively in South America for hundreds of years for stomach problems and obesity. However, many recent studies, one of which was run for 2 years, found that it also lowers high blood pressure.

Magnesium – This ingredient has always been recognized in the medical world for its ability to stabilize the heart’s rhythm and also helps prevent clotting!

Common sense – If you combine all the lifestyle tips listed above with a daily regimen of Natural Blood Pressure Control Capsules, I can guarantee that you will prevent yourself from getting hypertension or lower your high blood pressure.

That’s all for now. Next week I’ll be looking at Back Pain Problems so make sure you click through for that

I really hope you all have a good summer no matter what the weather!

Keep smiling and stay healthy
