How To Get Your Child To Sleep Alone At Night
How can I get my kids to stop crawling in my bed at night? This is a question of every parent.
What is greater than being able to sleep the whole night without disturbing moments? It’s wonderful to feel romantic with your husband without worrying about someone jumping into your room!
Co-sleeping is not highly recommended for both parents and children. Parents will lose all sense of bed intimacy and children will be so attached to their parents. They will never learn to deal with their fears and worries.
On the other hand, sleeping alone all night has many benefits that we, as parents, should know about.
The techniques are so simple that we just have to be creative and patient.
I have two children myself, my four year old has never slept in my bed even though she tried every trick she could get out of it. But by increasing her confidence and helping her learn how to fight her fears she managed to sleep alone in her bed and she is very proud of her achievement!
1- Find out the underlying reason behind his behavior
There is a reason your child wants to sleep with you, and correcting her behavior should address the underlying issues. Do some research to find out your child’s motivation, perhaps using a creative approach such as acting out bedtime with dolls or having your child paint pictures. Once you find out the reason, work to dispel the fears and insecurities.

3- Bedtime Routine
Take a hot bath, brush your teeth, read a bedtime story. Anything related to sleep time could be called sleep associations. If your child is used to taking a bath every day before going to sleep, this will become the signal that will help your baby understand that it is time to sleep and help him feel comfortable doing so. Be careful, let the bedtime routine be relaxing for your child and easy for you to maintain
